Travelling to Cape Town

Cape Town has one airport: Cape Town International (CPT). Direct flights to Cape Town International are available from destinations in Europe and the USA. Alternatively, you can fly into O.R. Tambo International Airport (JHB) in Johannesburg and take a domestic connecting flight to Cape Town. If you follow this option, allow enough time in your connection to clear immigrations and customs before checking in for your domestic flight to Cape Town. The domestic terminal is adjacent to the international terminal but it is some distance to walk. Three hours will give you a leisurely connection with some allowance for delays on incoming flights.

You are advised to make your bookings early to get good rates.
